Swimming beach at Burs Run on Lake Texoma shows the effect of low lake levesl with several extra feet of sand that can be seen darker than the normal beach length.

A water level marker shows signs of water as the numbers below 620 feet are completely washed away.

Charles Britt from Dallas fishes off rocks under the damn that would normally be under water. Signs of water levels as much as seven feet under normal can be seen on the intake structure as the dark lines where the normal water level would be.

Members of the Red River Velo Club left to right Greg Pappas, Mike Squires, and Jeff Harp take advantage of the warm Saturday weather to go on a ride. The group rode to Ector and back from Denison to log about 50 miles on the day.

7 year old Brett Miller from Sadler uses a net taped to a pole to scoop up crawdads at Hawn park in Sherman Wednesday morning. Miller hit the jackpot in his search for crawdads sometimes bringing up to or even three with almost every scoop.

Dew drops hang on a gate at Sherman's Wset Hill cemetary Thursday morning as a heavy layer of fog enveloped the area over night.

A locomotive sits on the tracks in Sherman Tuesday afternoon with it's front door open. The first locomotive in Texas was called the General Sherman after General Sidney Sherman who the town of Sherman was named after.  General Sherman is credited for being one of the earliest promoters and founders of the rairoad.
